Anna is a Make-Up artist and in early 2012 i received an e-mail from her, asking me if i had some jobs in some of my Shootings for her. For example she did the make-up for the powder-shooting series. When i took a look at her website, i thought she might be a great model too so i saked her for a shooting. She told me she wasn’t sure because she is a bit shy in front of the camera and we didn’t really talk further about this topic. After i shot the summer garden series, i received an other message for her, asking me, if the offer was still relevant. I was pretty happy that she seriously wanted to have shooting with me and immediately said yes.
When i asked for a possible shooting topic, she showed me some example photos of women in a lake/river and i thought this might be some great stuff. She had no problems with getting her cloths wet and we did the shooting only a few days later. Well, it was still a bit cold, especially in the water. I only had to get into the water to the hip but as you can see on the photos, Anna completely dived into the water at the end. I can tell you, her complete body was shaking and her lips where getting more and more blue over the time. I really worried about her. Anyway she did such a great job. She wasn’t shy when it came to posing or expression, it was really easy to shoot her portraits, i didn’t have to say much, she simply acted in front of the camera, like every photographer would whish it.
