To install a Photoshop action (.atn-File), open Photoshop. Now doubleclick the action-file (.atn-file). Maybe you’re wondering now, why Photoshop isn’t giving you any response but that’s ok, the action is installed. You’ll find it in your actions-windows. If you don’t see this window, you can open it in the “Window”-menu by clicking on “Actions”
For all actions from sandbox-photos.com and for nearly all other actions that can be found on the internet, it’s necessary that your photo is merged to the background-layer. To merge it to the background-layer, simply rightclick on a layer in your layer-window and select “Flatten image”. All your visible layers will now be included in the background-layer.
Now you can choose the action you want to execute in your actions-window by single-clicking on it and hitting the play-button on the bottom border of the actions-window:
The action will need a few seconds until it’s completely executed. It’s done when you don’t recognize any more action in your layers-window.

To duplicate a layer, right-click on that layer and select “Duplicate Layer”. It’s also possible to duplicate a layer by left-clicking on it and use the shortcut CTRL+J.
